Product Details

For properties beyond the reach of mains sewer, a dependable septic tank is the quiet foundation of a well-run onsite wastewater system. This 3,000L polymer septic tank takes everyday wastewater from the kitchen, bathroom and laundry, and uses an internal partition to settle and treat it in two stages before the effluent moves on to your absorption trench. Moulded from tough polypropylene, it won't corrode or break down the way concrete can, and at 133kg, it's light enough to get into position without heavy lifting gear.

Key Features

  • 3,000L capacity with internal partition — splits the tank into inlet and outlet sections (a 2:1 ratio) so wastewater settles and clarifies in two stages, sending cleaner effluent through to your trench.
  • Tough polypropylene construction — resists moisture, chemicals and ground conditions that break concrete down over time.
  • Meets AS/NZS 1546.1 — built to the Australian Standard councils look for in an onsite septic tank.
  • 133kg all up — far lighter than concrete, so it's easier to transport and place on site.
  • Built for residential septic systems — a proven design for onsite wastewater treatment.
  • Ready to install — supplied with inlet and outlet junctions, anchor ropes, and access ports for ongoing maintenance.

Ideal For

  • Rural, semi-rural and lifestyle properties not connected to mains sewer.
  • Households of up to around five people (based on 200L/person/day, AS/NZS 1547:2012).
  • New builds, or replacing an ageing or failing septic tank.

A note on installation

Septic systems need to be installed by a licensed plumber and approved by your local council to meet the relevant Australian Standards. We'd recommend confirming your site requirements before ordering — happy to help point you in the right direction.
