When you order a RapidPlas tank, it arrives "ready-to-install" with premium inclusions as standard. Every standard rainwater tank includes:

  • Inlet Strainer & Dust Cover: A stainless steel, mosquito-proof mesh strainer to keep debris out, plus a light-blocking cover to prevent algae growth.  
  • Two Outlets: Fitted as standard at the 3 o’clock and 9 o’clock positions (1 ½” size), giving you more flexibility for plumbing and pump connections or connecting additional tanks.  
  • High-Quality Ball Valve: One premium 1 ½” ball valve is included so you can easily control the water flow from day one.
  • 90mm Overflow Kit: A standard overflow outlet to safely direct excess water into your stormwater system during heavy rain.  
  • Integrated Lifting Lugs on round tanks: Four moulded-in lugs to make it safe and easy for your builder or plumber to maneuver the tank into its final position on your site. Moulded in hand grips on slimeline tanks.

Yes. We use only UV-stabilised, food-grade polyethylene that is fully certified to Australian Standard AS/NZS 4020 for the storage of potable (drinking) water.

Absolutely. Unlike traditional steel tanks, our polyethylene tanks are 100% non-corrosive and salt-air proof. They will never rust or require anti-corrosion treatments, making them the ideal choice for coastal environments.

Poly tanks are very low maintenance. We simply recommend checking your inlet strainer and overflow mesh every few months to clear any leaf debris. Unlike steel tanks, you don’t need to worry about checking for internal rust or touching up protective coatings.
