Armidale Regional Council has released a new residential Rainwater Tank Rebate offering $250 back on 2,000–10,000L tanks and $500 back on tanks over 10,000L, purchased after 3 November 2025.

To support local residents, RapidPlas your local tank manufacturer based in Tamworth, is offering an additional special deal on all eligible tank sizes. Use the code Local Tanks when requesting your quote to unlock your RapidPlas discount.

Once your purchase is complete, you can then apply to the Council rebate program to save even more. Funding is limited, so now is the time to act.

What is the Armidale Rainwater Tank Rebate?

Armidale Regional Council offers a rebate for residential rainwater tanks purchased after 3 November 2025. Tanks 2,000–10,000 litres receive a $250 rebate, and tanks over 10,000 litres receive a $500 rebate, while funding lasts.

Do I get a discount from RapidPlas as well as the rebate?

Yes. residents in the Armidale region who use the code Local Tanks receive a special RapidPlas offer. After purchasing your tank, you can then apply for the Council rebate for extra savings.

How does the process work?

Purchase your tank
Submit your rebate application to Armidale Regional Council
Receive your $250 or $500 rebate (if approved)

Is the rebate applied at the time of purchase?

No — the rebate is provided by the Council after you submit your application. RapidPlas provides the invoice needed to support your submission.

What is the special deal from RapidPlas?

Residents in the Armidale region who use the code Local Tanks when submitting an enquiry unlock a campaign-only discount on their tank purchase. This is in addition to the council rebate.

Do you deliver to the Armidale region?

Yes — RapidPlas delivers directly to the Armidale region from our Tamworth manufacturing facility.

How long will the rebate be available?

The program is open until funding is exhausted. Residents are encouraged to purchase early to avoid missing out.

Hi Guys, just wanted to give you some feedback from my recently delivered water tank by Chris to my Yass River property.

Unfortunately I was called away and couldn't meet your delivery driver or be much help to him. Chris did an awesome job. Firstly, he managed to find my property which is harder than you think, we are a triple battle axe block. He managed to work out the correct spot to place the tank, the spot was hidden between sheds. He also found timbers and chocked it so the gale winds wouldn't pick it up. And he placed the pump in a nearby shed protecting it from weather and thieves. And to top it off with so much recent rain he never turned up or damaged any of my paddocks or hard surfaces maneuvering the truck around.
