What is a Rain-to-Mains Package?

A Rain-to-Mains system is an automated setup that connects your rainwater tank to your household plumbing (typically toilets, laundry, and garden taps).

The system prioritises free rainwater. However, when your tank level gets low, the system automatically detects this and seamlessly switches your supply to mains water. This ensures you never run out of water, even during dry spells, without you having to manually turn a single valve.

What is Included?

We have curated these packages to ensure perfect compatibility between the tank, the pump, and the switching device. Every package in this category includes:

  1. The Tank: A premium rainwater tank (available in various sizes and colours below).

  2. The Pump: High-quality pumps chosen for reliability and pressure.

  3. The AcquaSaver: An automatic hydraulic changeover device that manages the switch between rain and mains water. It operates without electricity for the switching mechanism and protects your pump from running dry.

Which Package Do I Need?

You will see three performance levels available across our tank range below:

  • Small BASIX Package: Features a 60L/min external pump and 3/4" AcquaSaver. Ideal for standard homes, toilet flushing, and washing machines.

  • Large BASIX Package: Features an 86L/min external pump and 1" AcquaSaver. Perfect for larger homes with higher water demand or garden irrigation needs.

  • Submersible BASIX Package: Features a 100L/min submersible pump and 1" AcquaSaver. The ultimate solution for silence and a tidy finish, as the pump sits inside the tank.
